November 2020 sees Australia in the still in the COVID-19 pandemic. The traditional Remembrance Day service can not happen. That does not stop us, the video below was created to still commemorate under lockdown.
This video of our Remembrance Day Commemoration Service has been produced in lieu of conducting our live annual Service at St Marys, due to the COVID19 situation and current restrictions on gathering. We hope that you take a few moments to watch and participate remotely on this important occasion. Lest We Forget.
The Outpost offices are located at St Marys, an outer western suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia and is affiliated with the Vietnam Veterans Association of Australia National Council Inc.
Although primarily an association of Vietnam Veterans, the Sub-Branch also provides assistance to Australian veterans of other conflicts, serving members of Australia's armed forces and veterans of allied forces.
Support provided ranges from basic entitlement advice, claims assistance and advocacy services.
The St Marys RSL sub-Branch Social Guild provides a wide range of discounted activities to members of the Outpost who are either full or associate members of the RSL Sub-Branch.
The Outpost receives limited Official Government funding, and also raises funds by way of membership fees and donations, a close relationship with the St Marys RSL and Ex-Serviceman's Club Ltd is also maintained.
The Outpost General Meetings are now being held bi-monthly in the Train at 9.30am on the
last Thursday of March, May, July, September and November each year.
